Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Sermora AI (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Sermora AI provides a software platform that enables worship service hosts to broadcast live, AI-translated captions to attendees in multiple languages via their mobile devices. The platform includes live captioning, archive storage, AI sermon summaries, and attendee management tools.

• You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create a host account.
• One subscription covers one church. Adding multiple churches requires separate subscriptions or written approval from us.
• You may not share account credentials with unauthorized parties.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harassing.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Use the Service to caption non-religious or commercial events on a Free plan.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written consent.

• The Free plan is provided at no charge subject to usage limits described on our pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are listed on our website and may change with 30 days notice to active subscribers.
• All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
• If payment fails, we will attempt to retry. After repeated failures your account may be downgraded to the Free plan.

Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. After the trial, your card will be charged at the applicable plan rate.

Each plan includes defined limits for attendees per service, translation languages, services per month, and archive retention. Exceeding a limit may result in access being restricted for affected users or services. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by reaching plan limits.

The Service, including its software, design, and AI models, is owned by Sermora AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your content (church name, logos, sermon text). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely to operate the Service.

AI translations and sermon summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors. You acknowledge that AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional interpretation and may not accurately reflect the speaker's intent. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy of translations or summaries.

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for material violations of these Terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Archived data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that captions will be 100% accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sermora AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to errors in AI translations during a service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sermora AI is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify account holders of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
